LIGHT FROM THE INSIDE OUT

A full interior renovation in Kitsilano, opening up the space, layouts redesigned, rebuilt around a warm and quiet palette.

The West 3rd project started with a full interior demolition. The kitchen was reframed and opened to the living and dining areas. Every bathroom was redesigned from the ground up, with new layouts, plumbing relocated, wet areas rebuilt behind walls that hadn't been touched in decades. That kind of scope required careful trade sequencing and construction management that stayed ahead of each phase.

Jennifer Dunn's interior direction brought a consistent palette of warm whites, natural oak, and soft neutrals through every room. A barn door screens a built-in home office off the main hall for privacy. The kitchen centres on an island with light wood cabinetry. Bathrooms are clean and functional, featuring a soaker tub, large-format tile, double vanities, round mirrors. The renovation gave the house a layout and a material palette lift from front to back.
